MGF (C-terminal) 2mg ( Mechano Growth Factor) is a peptide hormone, a natural physiological by-product created in the human body as a result of exercise. Mechanical growth factor (MGF) and IGF-1 (insulin-like growth factor) are isoforms. The isoform is a protein of slightly different forms but usually has a similar function. Both MGF a liver hormone and IGF-1  produced in muscle have anabolic effects. But the anabolic forces of MGF are greater than those of IGF-1. The anabolic quality of a substance is such that it increases the levels of synthesis at either the molecular or cellular level. This means that the mechanical growth factor is more sensitive to muscle damage through exercise and induces the synthesis of more skeletal proteins muscle.
