Ipamorelin is a pentapeptide that belongs to the class of drugs known as growth hormone secretagogues. This class of drugs includes GHRP-6, GHRP-2, Ipamorelin, Hexarelin. Its main function is to stimulate the pituitary gland to release more growth hormone which also results in elevated levels of IGF-1. Ipamorelin 5mg is the third generation GHRP and is used exclusively for the release of growth hormones and the production of IGF-1. The growth factor IGF-1 or insulin-like, produced in the liver, is highly anabolic and plays a major role in general growth, repair of muscle and skeletal tissue.
